1. Landing Page Optimisation
Landing pages are vital for any successful campaign. If don’t have optimised landing pages, then that’s where I’ll start.
2. Ad Group Setup
Ad groups are where we start sorting traffic based on customer type, rather than using a less effective ‘catch all’ approach.
3. Keyword Research
Keyword selection is vital step and is where carefully-selected keywords are paired with with their appropriate ad group.
4. Testing Phase
After the landing pages, ad groups and keywords are all ready, we begin slowly gathering data, this lasts 1-4 weeks.
5. Scaling Phase
Just as it sounds, we scale back what isn’t working, and scale up what is. We can begin testing additional ad groups here too.
6. On-going Optimisation
Even successful campaigns have missed opportunities and wasted spending. Leave it to me to optimise continuously.

ROI, or return on investment, is simply the amount of revenue generated after an initial investment. In this case, the money invested will be invested in Google Ads. Different businesses will have different needs and potential when it comes to the ROI they will generate from Google Ads. I always work with my clients to set an ROI based on the client’s specific needs and a realistic potential based on the market.
A successful Google Ads campaign hinges on (in part) the end point of which the traffic is being driven to. If you don’t have suitable pages to drive traffic to, the campaign will struggle to convert.
Part of the setup process of my Google Ads service is to setup high-converting landing pages that are paired with suitable keywords, maximising the success of your marketing efforts.
As a rough guide many Google Ads specialists base their pricing on the budget of the campaign, since a bigger budget will often be directly tried to the number of ad groups, keywords and hours spent managing the campaign, usually a management fee of 10-20% of the monthly ad spend.
Personally, as long as you’re not a micro account, I charge 10% of your monthly ad budget.
Conversion rate, often abbreviated to conv. rate, is the rate at which an audience successfully performs a particular desired action; the action is referred to as a conversion action. For e-commerce, the conversion action will be a sale; for a service-based business, the conversion action will be filling out a contact form, making a phone call to the business, or another similar action.
